About a month ago now, we wrapped up our PensionPro User Group conference in Chicago, Illinois. Here, we got to meet with some of our most dedicated users to swap experiences, learn new tricks, and presumably, eat authentic deep-dish-style pizza.

Admittedly, I’m a little fuzzy on this last point—Chicago sadly wasn’t in the cards for me this year. Still, I have it on good authority from my esteemed colleagues who did make the trip that our users really like talking shop. And why not? If you’re a PensionPro user, then it’s probably safe to say you value efficiency and are often wondering if your processes could be just a little bit better and could make your life just a little bit easier. But innovation almost always relies on the exchange of ideas. That is to say, somebody at another company might have already solved a problem that’s been plaguing you, or at the very least, can help you consider the problem from a different angle.

There was some sentiment at User Group that the conversations that began there didn’t have enough time to properly conclude. After all, it was an action-packed three days. Shame, then, that there’s really no way to network with other PensionPro users outside of these limited-availability events…

…Except, there is! I’d like to introduce you to (or, I’m sure, re-introduce you to) the Community section on the PensionPro Help Center. You can find the Community here, on the home page of the Help Center, humbly positioned at the end of the list of Categories on the left:

And from there, the Community is simple to use. You can make a new post to a variety of different topics, or read and reply to what other users have shared. There’s even a subscription feature; just hit the Follow button at the top-right of any topic, and you’ll receive an email alert when another user makes a new post. That same button can also be found in the posts themselves, if you want to be notified of any replies. If somebody else has the answer you seek, you’ll be the first to know.

Note, you do have to be signed in to the Help Center to view topics and post yourself. Of course, now that PensionPro takes you to the Help Center AND logs you in with just a single click—(even if you’ve never created an account in the past!)—I expect this to be a much more pleasant experience.

While the Community is geared towards connecting TPAs with other TPAs and sharing best practices with one another, you’re not going to be in it alone. You can expect to see members of the PensionPro Support team within the Community—myself included—chiming in to keep the conversation going. Of course, if you’re experiencing a technical issue with PensionPro, getting in touch with us via a Help Center ticket is always going to be the best way to get a quick reply. But if you’ve ever asked yourself questions like “could this process be smoother?” or “how do other companies handle this situation?”, or even if you just want to see what other TPAs have been talking about lately, you might want to drop by the PensionPro Community once in a while. I mean, it’s a fast-paced industry. Why wait until the next conference?
